Phoebe is a lighting designer with a specialisation in new work. Phoebe runs big gay independent theatre company bub with frequent collaborator Riley Spadaro. For bub, she has designed THE ITALIANS (Belvoir 25A), AUSTRALIAN OPEN (Kings Cross Theatre) and THIS BITTER EARTH (Theatre Works). Other design credits include: NEVER CLOSER and SLAUGHTERHOUSE (Belvoir 25A), HAND TO GOD (Old Fitz), A GIRL IN A SCHOOL UNIFORM (KXT), THE BRIDGES OF MADDISON COUNTY (Hayes Theatre), LET ME FINISH and UNVEILING: GAY SEX FOR ENDTIMES (The Blue Room Theatre). Phoebe has seconded with Nick Schlieper on PACKER AND SONS (Belvoir) and Alexander Berlage on AMERICAN PSYCHO (Hayes Theatre). For her work on UNVEILING, Phoebe was nominated for the 2018 Performing Arts WA Award for Best Lighting Design. Phoebe is a graduate of WAAPA and NIDA.
