
LEIGH SLEIGHTHOLME
Leigh began his training at just 15 at The Industry school of Dance under the tuition of Robert Sturrock . He has also trained with vocal coach Maggie Britton, and holds extensive training in acrobatics. Since 2011 Leigh has been a lead vocalist & an original cast member for the critically acclaimed show Boys In The Band (SMA Productions), touring internationally to South Africa, China, Singapore, New Zealand, Japan, & Australia wide.
Performance credits include Warner Bros Movieworld , ‘Storm’ (Conrad Jupiters) , ‘The Man From Snowy River’ (David Atkins) , ‘Bindi & The Crocmen’ (Australia Zoo) , ‘Der Rosenkavalier’(Opera Australia), ‘Carmen’(Opera Australia), and performing the role of Chistery in ‘Wicked’ (Universal Studios Japan).
Leigh made his professional musical theatre debut in 2005, performing in ‘We Will Rock You’ (Japan), a tour he was invited back to repeat in 2006. He then went on to perform in ‘High School Musical’ – Live On Stage, the 10th anniversary Australian production of ‘MAMMA MIA!’ , the 2016 Australian tour of ‘We Will Rock You’ , the 2017 reimagined Australian production of ‘MAMMA MIA!’ , ‘Bring It On: The Musical’ , ‘Angel’ in ‘RENT’ , and originated the role of ‘Big Bud Dean’ for the Australian premiere of ‘Heathers: The Musical’ . Leigh was most recently seen in the Australian production of ‘Shrek: The Musical’
